invisible castle: 'becoming healthy leaders, and responding to abusive ones' (podcast)
season one, episode eight
If someone says ‘unhealthy Christian leadership’, then a specific name or face might instantly spring to your mind. Maybe someone you know (or knew) personally. Or perhaps a big name like Ravi Zacharias, Mark Driscoll, or Mike Pilavachi.
In the latest episode of the invisible castle podcast, we discuss healthy and unhealthy leadership. We aren’t so interested here in dissecting the failures of high-profile figures, as we are in asking the question of how we ourselves can chart a different course, both in the choices we make as individuals, and also in the cultures and systems we help cultivate.
Luke Cawley is joined by Wes Poirot for this one. Wes brings with him experience from a wide range of contexts, having been a school teacher, headteacher, youth worker, and now local church leader. We really appreciate the authenticity and thoughtfulness with which he contributes to the conversation.
